The MANTLE® System Lead is the base component of the MANTLE® modular dog walking system, allowing you to interchange components such as different leads, handles, and color attachments designed to work seamlessly together.

The MANTLE® System Lead is designed to be paired with the MANTLE® System Handle.

Materials and Construction

All MANTLE® accessories are made with super strong 12mm woven nylon cording and feature all solid brass custom components. The all-weather accessories are comfortable as well as functional. They are designed and assembled with great attention to detail in our Williamsburg, Brooklyn studio.

Use and Care

Hand wash with soap or detergent and either lay flat or hang to dry. Items may slightly shrink and feel stiffer initially; this is normal and they will soften with regular use.

Embrace the brass's natural patina that it leaves on high friction areas of the cord. To lighten and or remove stains, use a baking soda paste, scrub gently, and rinse after 5-10 minutes. A touch of detergent enhances cleaning. Repeat if needed; some staining may persist.

How to use your Mantle System Lead.

Step 1: To attach the Mantle Leash Lead to the Mantle Handle start by taking the open loop end of the handle and slipping it through the o-ring at the top of the leash lead.

Step 2: Then slip the end of the leash lead with the swivel snap through the handle loop that was pushed through the single ring.

Step 3: Pull the leash lead all the way through to the end then pull the handle and leash lead snugly into place to secure the handle to the leash lead.

To remove or change the Mantle System Lead from the Mantle System Handle simply reverse the process.
